Joining the Club
The current fee for membership of the club is £12 per annum on an individual basis, or £22 per annum
for family membership. In return for this fee you become eligible to take part in all of the club’s
activities and events i.e. both flying and social, and can stand for election to the club’s management
committee.
In addition, you will receive copies of the club’s magazine "Crownline", which is issued 6 times per year, and contains news, information and articles about ballooning in the Chiltern Region. The magazine can be emailed directly to you, or downloaded from the Members’ Pages section of this website. You will be issued with a username and password each year, enabling you to access the Members’ Pages, on receipt of your annual subscription fee.
To join the club, first print a copy of the Membership Application Form. To do this simply click on the link, and the Membership Form, which is in the form of a PDF file*, should be displayed on your computer screen. To print the form, select the "Print" command from the File drop-down menu.
*You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view PDF files.

Alternatively, you can download a copy of the Membership Application Form file to your computer for printing later, off-line. To download the file, first display the Membership Application Form on the screen, and then click on the floppy disc icon at the left hand end of the Adobe Acrobat tool bar, which runs across the top of the document. Then follow the instructions for saving a copy of the document to your own hard drive.
When you have printed a copy of the Membership Application Form, please complete it by hand and then send it, together with your cheque for the annual subscription fee (i.e. £12 or £22, as appropriate), to the club's Membership Secretary at the address indicated on the bottom of the form.
