Meeting Venue

Club Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, at The Bull in Olney, Bucks, starting at 8 pm, except for the summer months between May and August (see below). During the winter months, there is generally a speaker for the evening, talking about an aspect of aviation, usually related to ballooning. This normally lasts for about an hour, and the rest of the time is spent in socialising and exchanging experiences about recent flights with other club members.

Flying Evenings

During the summer months of May, June, July and August, we hold Flying Evenings. For these we generally meet at about 6 pm at a selected location within our region, and are generally able to get in a flight of about an hour before dark. Afterwards, we generally hold a barbecue or retire to a local pub.

Future Meetings

The next club night will be a Curry Evening and social, to be held at The Bull in Olney, on Tuesday 23rd February 2010, meeting at about 7 pm. It will be a buffet style meal starting at about 8 pm. The cost will be £5 per head, and the club will subsidise the remaining cost. Please let Barry know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending as he needs to know numbers. A deposit of £5 per person is required, in advance, to John Tyrrell.
